Brendan joined Grant Thornton in 1995 having previously been a director of corporate finance and consulting in another Dublin practice.
Brendan has overall responsibility for the firm’s Operational Advisory Group, which includes Business Risk Services, Business Consulting, Energy and Forensics and Cyber advisory divisions, which provide a wide range of consulting services to public and private sector clients.
Brendan has in-depth knowledge of financial analysis, infrastructure and budgetary control. A strong advocate of business planning and strategic positioning, he assists clients in identifying key business. He has been involved in significant complex projects within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, utilities and food sectors providing strategic advisory services and managing large teams of project management professionals.
Brendan is past President of Dublin Chamber of Commerce (2017/18) and is a current member of the board. He is a member of the Audit Committee of Dublin City Council since 2012 and was elected Chairperson in 2015. Brendan is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is also a Certified Management Consultant and a fellow of the IMCA.
