Stephen joined Grant Thornton in 2009 as a director within the Advisory department and was admitted to the partnership in 2012. He spent ten years within a professional services firm in the UK where he undertook a central role in the management and development of the insolvency department. Today, Stephen is the current CEO of Grant Thornton Ireland.
He specialises in advising companies in financial distress providing innovative and practical turnaround solutions.
Stephen also leads statutory insolvency appointments such as examinerships, receiverships and liquidations. His advisory sector experience includes;

Stephen is an expert on personal insolvency in Ireland and is one of Ireland's leading Personal Insolvency Practitioners.

- Bachelor of Arts Honours degree (BA) in Business Studies from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
- Stephen is authorised by the Insolvency Service of Ireland to carry on practice as a personal insolvency practitioner.
