Experience

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, Michael is an audit partner based in our Cork office. He was partner-in-charge in Welch & Co. which recently merged with Grant Thornton.

Sector experience

Michael serves a wide variety of clients in the manufacturing, retail, property and tourism sectors encompassing mainly large indigenous Irish entities. He is a former member of the Auditing Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. Michael has advised clients on all aspects of both acquiring and selling companies ranging from €1 million - €40 million sales and acquisitions ranging with considerations of up to €25 million.

Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland (CAI)
Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Economics from University College Cork (UCC)
BA in Economics and Computers from University College Cork (UCC)
