Juan has over 20 years of valuation and corporate finance experience. He has significant experience advising clients on valuations, financial modelling, restructuring, business planning, litigation and arbitration.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, he worked in the valuation practice for other large international firms in Spain and LATAM.
Juan’s valuation expertise includes;
- Valuation of business, equity, minority interests, stock options plan, business line and intangibles assets in the context of transactions, fairness opinion, restructuring, financial reporting, start-ups, investment decisions and private equity funds;
- Valuation for financial reporting purposes;
- Valuations for impairment assessments;
- Valuations for taxation purposes;
- Purchase Price Allocations for IFRS and FR102;
- Fairness opinions for investment appraisal purposes and other transaction-related matters;
- Intellectual property valuations for tax, financial reporting, and other commercial purposes;
- Management incentive plan valuations;
- Valuation advice for litigation and arbitration purposes; and
- Valuations for share option schemes.

- Master's Degree in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking
- Executive Program in Big Data & Business Analytics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance
