Experience

Sarah a lead Director in Asset Management within the Financial Services Audit division. She joined Grant Thornton as a trainee in 2008.

Sector experience

Sarah provides audit and advisory services to companies across a range of sectors including asset management, technology, securitisation and aircraft leasing.

Her portfolio of clients include hedge funds (both Irish and offshore), private equity funds, asset managers and other investment vehicles including section 110 companies and QIAIFs. She has extensive experience in the audit of funds holding derivative contracts, private equity investments and distressed loan assets. A large proportion of Sarah’s clients have a global footprint.

Sarah has experience leading large teams and works with financial statements prepared under FRS 102, IFRS and US GAAP.

Qualifications

Associate member (ACA) of Chartered Accountants in Ireland
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting and Finance from Dundalk Institute of Technology
Member of 100 Women in Finance
