Joanne re-joined Grant Thornton in 2018 and has 11 years experience working in various roles, primarily in tax practice. She previously worked as a manager in the Tax Department of a Big 4 firm and specialised in employment tax, global mobility and workforce issues including taxation, social security and reward.
Joanne provides tax advice to a broad range of indigenous Irish businesses, multinational clients and high-net worth individuals. This includes advice in relation to global mobility, succession planning for individuals, and a range of employment tax issues. Having experience in the provision of employment tax advice to companies across a variety of sectors, Joanne has a strong understanding of relevant employment tax issues in this area and is equipped to create effective solutions for these clients.
Joanne also has significant project and programme management experience having been seconded to one of Ireland’s pillar banks, assisting with deleveraging and future operating model activities.
