David Lynch

David joined the audit department of Grant Thornton in 2006 and was admitted to the partnership in 2020.

David leads our specialist Financial Services Audit practice, which comprises over 400 employees and audits approximately US$500bn in assets across 1,500 entities. The practice leverages innovative tools and technologies to deliver value-added insights and efficiencies to our clients. He represents the firm on the Grant Thornton International Global Asset Management Steering Committee.

A specialist in asset management and capital markets, David has extensive experience auditing UCITS and AIF onshore and offshore funds, complex securitisation transactions, private equity, and real asset structures. He also heads our ETF funds practice.
