Minister Donohoe’s upcoming budget will be published on 13 October 2020. Notwithstanding the impact of COVID-19 on the public finances, tax hikes are not expected. However, it is less certain whether any existing reliefs may be curtailed or indeed whether there be a reduction in certain taxes to further stimulate the economy.

Join us via webinar the following morning to hear our Tax team discuss the impact of the budget on you and your business, together with insights on appropriate tax planning given the changing landscape. Discussion will be moderated by Vincent Wall.

Grant Thornton is again linking up with Newstalk to provide live commentary and assessment as Minister Donohoe speaks from the Dail and provide further analysis the following morning on Vincent Wall’s Business Breakfast from 6.30am.
