New Audit and Assurance partner to support client and company growth

Business advisory firm Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of a new Audit and Assurance partner, Dan Holland, to meet client demand for senior level expertise across the business and support future growth at the firm. Grant Thornton, one of the fastest growing professional services firms in Ireland, is currently recruiting for positions in Financial Services Advisory, Business Risk and Tax.

Dan Holland joins Grant Thornton having spent 11 years as a Partner in Smith and Williamson, eight of which he served as Head of the Audit and Assurance Department. Dan also previously spent two years as a group financial controller for a group of large privately-owned companies.

He has extensive experience of leading and coordinating audit, accounting, assurance and advisory assignments for both domestic and international clients. At Grant Thornton, Dan will join a team of 19 partners in the audit department, who collectively lead a team of over 400 skilled professionals within the audit and assurance department across Ireland.
