Mark is a tax partner and head of incentives for Grant Thornton’s all-Ireland practice. Mark is one of Ireland’s foremost experts in the R&D tax credit and grant incentives space, with over 14 years’ dedicated experience advising clients across R&D tax credits, government grants, patent box / KDB, video games tax relief, and capital allowances.
Mark’s background is uniquely multidisciplinary, holding engineering, science, computer science, and tax qualifications.
Across his career, Mark has delivered hundreds of millions of euro in tax savings, cash refunds and grant funding. Mark’s clients range from SME’s to some of the largest multinational groups operating in Ireland. Mark prides himself on assisting clients to navigate complex technical, scientific, and financial landscapes in order to ensure they maximise the incentives available to them.
Mark has also played a central role in delivering some of the largest incentives supported investment projects in Ireland in recent years.
