Experience

Julia Considine is a tax partner leading the Private Client practice and has over 17 years experience advising high net worth individuals, their families and businesses in relation to tax and succession planning to minimise overall taxation exposure on the transfer of wealth to the next generation and to design and implement comprehensive succession plans tailored to meet the client’s specific requirements.

Julia also has considerable experience advising on wills, trusts, estates and family business re-organisations. Julia is a practicing solicitor, a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Julia has written and lectured extensively in the area of capital acquisitions tax including co-authorship of The Taxation of Gifts and Inheritances (Finance Act 2024). Julia also regularly advises on stamp duty issues with respect to corporate restructuring, funds, real estate, mergers and acquisitions including application of reliefs and exemptions.
