John is an audit partner with 9 years’ experience at Grant Thornton, and brings over 24 years’ experience in providing audit, assurance and technical accounting advisory services to clients.
Sector experience
John is a recognised leader for engagements in the construction, engineering and built environment sector, drawing on 4 years in a senior leadership role at a multinational construction group. He leads audits and provides services across a multitude of sectors other than construction, including technology, telecoms, aerospace, healthcare, retail & consumer products, sporting organisations and industrial products.
John has worked with clients across the spectrum from SMEs to large multinationals and listed clients, and his geographical experience covers Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South America.
He has significant project management experience and led multiple complex audit engagements encompassing different geographies and different audit firms, for clients reporting under Irish GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards.
