David is a seasoned actuarial and insurance leader with more than 20 years’ experience across both senior industry roles and consultancy positions supporting insurers and reinsurers internationally. He leads our Actuarial and Insurance Risk practice, a Centre of Excellence delivering specialist actuarial, risk and capital advisory services to Grant Thornton Advisors clients globally.
David brings a strategic outlook, and is known for his collaborative style and practical approach. He is a trusted advisor to senior leadership teams and Boards, helping them navigate strategic, regulatory and commercial opportunities and challenges. Under his leadership, the practice has delivered impactful work across reserving, risk and capital, pricing, market entry, and transformation initiatives.
David is actively engaged in the wider industry and regularly contributes thought leadership on actuarial and insurance risk topics.
