Alongside our network firms at Grant Thornton International Limited, we are shocked and saddened by the horrific events in Ukraine. We stand in solidarity with the people of the Ukraine and our colleagues based in the Ukraine at this extremely difficult time.
We are actively monitoring the situation and taking all appropriate steps in response to international sanctions as they impact any clients or suppliers. The steps taken include ongoing monitoring, terminating existing relationships and declining new relationships where appropriate. We will not provide services to clients that are subject to sanctions or those connected to the Russian or the Belarusian governments.
Given the highly complex situation, the Global Leadership Team at Grant Thornton International Limited agreed to the resignation of its Russian member firm (FBK) from the network, with immediate effect.
Grant Thornton Ireland and the international network will continue to evaluate what further actions are needed as the situation evolves.
