Conail joined Grant Thornton in 2002.
He has previously worked for pension and actuarial consultancy firms both in Ireland and Scotland. He has acted as a trusted adviser to a wide variety of corporate and professional clients for over 20 years. By working closely with his colleagues in the audit and tax departments of Grant Thornton, he is able to provide clients with advice that is consistent and appropriate to meet their stated needs and objectives.
Conail has significant expertise in implementing, redesigning and the winding up of pension and insurance arrangements.
He also has experience in providing advice on business insurance, life assurance, disability, critical illness, lump sum investment and inheritance tax.
He is a Fellow of the Life Insurance Association of Ireland (LIA), the Institute of Management Consultants in Ireland (IMCA) and an Associate of the Irish Institute of Pension Managers (IIPM). He is also a member of the Insurance Institute of Ireland (III), Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF) and the Association of Compliance Officers of Ireland (ACOI).
Conail has worked closely with educational institutions, corporate entities and professional practitioners, as well as having exposure to and dealing with the recovery and forensic departments of Grant Thornton.
