Kumar joined Grant Thornton in 2023, having previously worked for a Big Four firm in Ireland. He co-heads the Grant Thornton transfer pricing team in Ireland. Kumar has extensive experience working with both outbound and inbound Irish and global MNEs in designing, implementing and documenting transfer pricing policies and supporting them in tax authority audits.

Sector Experience

Kumar has over 16 years’ experience in transfer pricing, having worked for Big Four firms in India, Australia and Ireland. Kumar has broad experience working across a variety of transfer pricing technical projects including:

advance pricing arrangements / mutual agreement procedures (“APAs/MAPs”);
business restructuring / supply chain planning;
preparation of Master File / Local file transfer pricing compliance documentation.

He has particular interest and experience in TP audits and value chain planning involving optimised business models.

Kumar has worked with large MNE Groups across a wide range of industries: TMT, Retail, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Construction, Transport, Energy & Resources, Engineering, Oil & Gas, Mining and Aircraft Leasing.
