Experience
Amy joined Grant Thornton in 2016 in the Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) department. She has worked in practice for the last ten years and has also worked as an outsourced finance manager for both international clients and small to medium sized entities.
Sector Experience
Amy has carried out audits for many companies in both Ireland and the UK in various industries including technology based companies, telecommunications, start-up companies, investment based companies, trading companies including manufacturing entities and also entities in the hospitality sector.
She has worked for many international based companies in a outsource finance manager role in preparation of both management accounts and consolidated results and reporting these directly to the Board of Directors.
Amy has also been involved in reviewing the internal controls and accounting systems of many entities and making recommendations thereon as well as implementing new systems, where applicable. She has worked on various other projects including Revenue Audits, advice on Research and Development Credits, Corporation Tax Compliance for Irish Companies as well as carrying out due diligence assignments.
