Income protection cover will provide you with an income in the event that you are disabled for a prolonged period due to illness or injury to the extent that you have to cease work. An amount equal to 75% of your salary would be payable after a deferred period of 13/26/52 weeks have elapsed from the date of disablement. These payments will continue until retirement age (i.e. age 65) or recovery, if earlier.
