Experience
Joyce joined Grant Thornton from a leading financial institution where she worked with a small team providing construction and development finance to small to medium sized businesses. Joyce developed a firm banking foundation there and now applies this in a project finance environment with particular emphasis on wind farms.

Joyce brings financial modelling expertise to the Renewable energy group and uses her mechanical engineering background to contribute to the more technical side of the projects. She also works closely with clients’ multi-advisory teams to see projects through to financial close.

Sector experience
Since joining Grant Thornton, Joyce has primarily been involved in project financing over 140MW of independent wind energy projects in Ireland. She has also advised on the disposal of wind farm development rights held in corporate vehicles and assisted in providing commercial advice for a proposed wood pelleting facility with integrated CHP plant.

Professional qualifications:
Joyce holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering (BE) from University College Dublin and a Master of Science in Management (MSc) from the London School of Economics.
