Business process re-engineering

Business process re-engineering can improve performance by identifying inefficiencies in existing operational processes, as a result of duplication of activities or redundant activities, resulting recommended changes to complete activities more efficiently.

Our approach
  • document the processes under review, i.e. “as-is process”;
  • highlight key issues with the existing processes;
  • identify potential solutions through the use of best practice data in relation to comparable organisations / benchmark data;
  • highlight solutions to resolve the issues highlighted; and
  • design the process required to achieve the desired improvements, i.e. “to-be process”.

Key outcomes

  • processes that are reflective of the current business requirements;
  • increased efficiency and resultant capacity;
  • decreased operating costs; and
  • improved service delivery.
