Experience
Niamh joined the firm in 1989 and was appointed partner in Financial Services in 2002.
Sector experience
She has extensive audit experience in Ireland and the United Kingdom with clients in the financial services industry with particular emphasis on investment vehicles including investment and hedge funds. She has also provided a range of audit and advisory services to clients including fund administration companies, aircraft leasing vehicles and operating companies.
She works closely with the Grant Thornton associate firms in the major financial services centres to enhance the services provided to the global financial services sector.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Niamh is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI), and a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (BComm) from University College Dublin.
Professional affilliations and memberships
Niamh is a member of the technical committee of the Irish Funds Industry Association and is a former director of Cayman Islands funds listed on the Dublin Stock Exchange.
