Experience
Leslie joined Grant Thornton in 2004 from a Big Four firm, where he was a tax director.
During his time there he was primarily involved in tax planning for large indigenous owner managed companies and their shareholders and directors, including group restructuring and reorganisations, estate planning and VAT planning.
Sector experience
Leslie also deals with VAT issues relating to property transactions as well as international VAT issues for multinational companies. Leslie has extensive experience in advising developers and investors on tax based property projects including hotel, holiday cottage, student and similar developments.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Leslie has a degree in Law (LLB) from University College Dublin (UCD) and is also a member of the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI).
Presentations and publications
Leslie has lectured for the institutes of both the Institute of Taxation (ITI) and the Institute of Bankers.
