Experience
Jimmy has been with the firm for over 35 years and became a partner in 1987. He served two terms as Managing Partner until 2003.
Jimmy has extensive experience as lead engagement partner on companies listed on the Irish, UK and US stock exchanges, and has had significant US GAAP/IFRS experience. He has also led teams reporting on Sarbanes Oxley 404 assignments.
Sector experience
Jimmy’s client portfolio includes listed companies and mid corporate clients, mainly in the manufacturing, services, distribution, biotech pharmaceutical, software and telecom sectors.
He has extensive experience in the area of corporate governance and inventory control systems in the manufacturing environments.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Jimmy is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland. He has a particular interest in information technology in the role of audit and has qualifications in computer programming and management information systems from Trinity College and the Irish Management Institute respectively.
