Experience
Frank has been in tax practice since 1980. His main professional interests include in-bound and out-bound investments. He has worked both in Ireland and abroad, having headed up a tax and legal practice in Slovakia.
Sector experience
He has considerable experience in cross border issues and in both owner managed and widely held businesses. He also has a keen interest in all types of business, both Irish and foreign, and in tax based structured finance deals generally.
Frank has been involved in many tax-based deals, mainly property based capital allowance, as well as corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions.
Professional qualifications and memberships
He is both a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) and a member of the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI).
He is the external examiner in tax for University College Dublin and also sits on the taxes administration liaison committee (TALC), with the Revenue and is an appointee by the Consultative Committee of Accounting Bodies in Ireland. He also sits on the Grant Thornton European Tax Committee.
