Experience
Denise joined Grant Thornton in 2002 and is a partner in our Limerick office. She specialises in the area of audit and assurance services.
Sector experience
Denise has an in-depth knowledge of credit union operations and is responsible for the management of credit union audits and consultancy assignments within the firm. She also has considerable experience of the international credit union movement through her placement with a Canadian member firm in 2007.
Denise has extensive experience in the engineering, manufacturing and retail sectors and is also responsible for Internal Audit and Risk Management Services in the Limerick office.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Denise is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) and completed her undergraduate studies in National University of Ireland Galway where she qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree. Denise achieved a diploma qualification in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and has lectured for the HSI Limerick Business School in the area of audit and assurance.
