Experience
Damian joined Grant Thornton in 1998 having trained with a Big4 firm. He was admitted to the partnership in 2004.
Sector experience
His primary focus is in audit and he has extensive experience in the engineering, manufacturing, technology, retail and motor retail sectors. He currently manages a portfolio of motor retail clients with turnovers renging from €6 million to €30 million.
Damian is also responsible for the management of the Specialist Project Accounting and Finance Divisions within the Limerick office which provides outsourced payroll and accounting services to clients. Damian draws on business advisory experience as well as his significant technical knowledge.
He has a considerable knowledge of current best practice in International Financial Reporting.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Damian is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and has a diploma qualification in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
