Experience
Peter spent twelve years in a Big Four firm where he gained considerable experience in international corporate tax structuring including financing structures, company migrations and international reorganisations/reconstructions.
He has significant expertise in due diligence work, merger and acquisition projects, tax efficient restructurings for both large Irish domestic and multinational corporations and financial services taxation. He has also advised clients on the tax aspects of property investments, both domestic and international.
Sector experience
Peter’s client portfolio includes Irish and overseas listed multinationals, together with large indigenous Irish companies. These clients span the distribution, food, energy, financial services and retail sectors.
Peter also has extensive experience in the public private partnership sector in Ireland and has advised several large multinational groups on such investments in Ireland.
Professional qualifications and memberships
Peter is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI) and an associate of the Irish Taxation Institute (ITI). He holds a Bachelor degree in International Commerce (B.Comm).
