It’s now 47 years since Joe Carr won the first staging of this 72 hole stroke event back in 1963. This tournament has attracted all of Irelands leading amateur golfers and indeed in years past many notables from overseas. Previous winners include Conor Doran (2009), Shane Lowry (2008) and Rory McIlroy (2006).
This tournament will be held on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 August 2010.
