Recovery and Reorganisation Senior - Galway

Overview    

Due to continued growth, Grant Thornton has an exciting opportunity available within our Advisory department.  The successful candidate will have responsibility for assisting the Recovery and Reorganisation team and the management of an ongoing portfolio of assignments.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a background in corporate recovery.  Your role will have involved management reporting, bookkeeping, basic tax and company secretarial compliance and experience in managing a number of tasks simultaneously.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • company secretarial compliance;
  • tax compliance;
  • liaising with clients;
  • general book keeping and preparation of management information; and
  • coordinating work of junior staff.

  • ability to multitask;
  • strong administration and organisation skills;
  • strong interpersonal skills;
  • ability to communicate at all levels, both orally and written;
  • attention to detail; and 
  • strong sense of initiative and responsibility.

Position requirements

  • qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA qualified);
  • highly motivated and demonstrate a strong enthusiasm to deliver work of exceptional standard; and 
  • 2 years experience working in corporate recovery is preferred.
