Also serviced by PI are larger privately held businesses and some companies with overseas operations. A number of such clients aspire to the same standards as publicly held entities, with their own audit committees and internal audit function. We consider that clients that aspire to such standards deserve the attention of staff with the requisite skills and experience required to handle the complex needs of public limited companies. Our public interest audit specialists combine broad technical experience of IFRS, US GAAP, Irish and UK GAAP. As members of the specialist PI team they also have a broad knowledge of corporate governance, excellent business expertise and an ability to identify additional practical solutions for clients.
